You have full flexibility: SimpleStaff is available immediately as a turnkey Managed Cloud at
time.bls-isp.net (hosted in Germany, GDPR-compliant). At the same time, all our solutions can be self-hosted 100% on-premises via Docker or as native rootless Podman modules on NethServer 8.
Do employees need to download an app from the App Store for SimpleStaff?
No. The employee portal works directly in any smartphone browser without installation. Staff can also scan a QR code to subscribe to their personal live shift feed (
webcal://) in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook.
Is NPA (NextPolicyAgent) 100% compatible with existing OPA policies?
Yes. NPA implements the complete OPA REST API and supports Rego v1 with 192+ built-in functions — while using 60× less memory (0.5 MB peak) and offering direct in-process Python SDK embedding (~5 µs per decision).
