Do employees need to install an app from the App Store?
No. The employee portal runs directly in any modern smartphone or desktop browser without installation. Additionally, staff can scan a QR code once to subscribe to their personal live shift feed (
webcal://) in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook.
Where is our data stored and is SimpleStaff GDPR-compliant?
In our Managed Cloud, all data is hosted exclusively in Germany and isolated per tenant at the database engine level via PostgreSQL Row-Level Security (RLS). Alternatively, you can self-host SimpleStaff 100% on your own server via Docker or NethServer 8.
How fast can we switch from Excel spreadsheets?

What happens if an emergency requires a shift with less than 11h rest?
